BIG NUZZ,OSKIDO & BOJO MUJO IN UK VALENTISES DAY

Top South African kwaito group Big Nuz have announced their first tour of the United Kingdom. Big Nuz will headline a Valentine’s Day tour also featuring hit-maker, Oskido, and house music juggernaut, Bujo Mujo. The Big Nuz trio of Mandla ‘Mampintsha’ Maphumulo, Mzi ‘Danger’ Tshomela and Sibusiso ‘R Mashesha’ Khomo are currently ruling the South African music scene with back-to-back platinum-selling albums carried by the hits Ubala and Umlilo. Oskido and Bujo Mujo kick-off the tour at the West Indian Centre in Leeds on Friday, February 12, before joining up with the Durban kwaito kings on Valentine’s Day at London’s Stratford Rex. Ezra Tshisa Sibanda, a spokesman for the promoters said: “It is now accepted as a fact that Big Nuz saved kwaito. “They are a super group who have come up with a new sound, and they certainly offer a welcome break from the monotonous Mtukudzi-Mafikizolo-Malaika UK tours.” Meanwhile in Ireland, top South African DJ will headline the Valentine’s entertainment with two gigs in Cork and Dublin on February 12 and 13. Promoter Gibson Ncube of Swing Entertainment said: “DJ Fresh will perform at White Lady nightclub in Cork on Friday, and at The Vaults on Valentine’s Day.”
